Shadow is a panther who dives into the fray with melee attacks. He stands back from the chaos and controls three demons: Griffon, Shadow and Nightmare. Some modify movement for wicked in-air tricks and sprints, while others simply dole out area-of-effect damage.Īnd then there is V, who is completely different and the highlight of the game from a gameplay perspective. Pistols and shotguns are there for range, creating a feel similar to the third game in the series in which players could choose styles such as gunslinger. Impressively, the game doesn't skip a beat despite looking like one of the best visual offerings out there. Games with action flying all over the place, often in contained spaces, sometimes suffer from a serious overdose of motion blur, but that isn't the case here.
